The gloomy weather could not put a damper on the recent Nquthu Art Market and Exhibition programme.
The order of the day was an atmosphere of jubilance and celebration.
The exhibition started with a peaceful walk by residents from the Nquthu Police Station, bearing placards in support of the fight against women and child abuse and xenophobia, which ended at the home of Dr Sosobala Mbatha, where the exhibition was held.
Crafters included Nquthu local, Mr Dlamini, who sold his handmade traditional wooden trays.
Also included in the programme for the successful exhibition, envisioned by United Arts Africa, were model parades, live entertainment, dramatic performances and everything between.
Mr Dlamini sold five of his handmade wooden plates and trays at the exhibition.Related story:
