This granny resides in Ward 4 (Loskop). Her identity document (ID) had the wrong date of birth.

“She shared that she would not be voting since her ID document had the wrong year of birth documented,” explained GCIS regional communications co-ordinator Patrick Mchunu.

After their intervention and assistance, along with that of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), Ms Mazibuko now has all the correct information on her all-new Smart Card ID.

And that’s not all; this will also enable Ms Mazibuko to successfully apply for her pension grant.
