Dovetree Avenue an eyesore to homeowners

A homeowner is pleading for service delivery in Dovetree Avenue

Dovetree Avenue has come under the spotlight again. This time no different than the previous times. Residents in the area continue their outcry for service delivery.

Some of the issues on the list are long grass, blocked gutters, as well as the garden waste and rubble dumped in heaps on the roadside.

A homeowner who spoke on condition of anonymity said: “I am pleading for the grass to be cut and a thorough clean-up of all the dumped materials, because I know asking for our roads to be tarred is pointless. After previously publicising this issue, it got attention for just that time.”

The resident added that Ward 17 Councillor Mvelase has also advised residents to publish their concerns in the media as it results in action being taken.

Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality was contacted for a response to the resident’s concerns but at the time of going to print, none was received.
