14 of Abacus Maths Ladysmith’s students attended the 2019 Abacus Maths Regional Competition on Saturday, August 3.
The competition saw the learners from Ladysmith going up against over 300 children in the different age groups.
They excelled in their performance and brought back gold, silver and bronze medals, as well as five trophies.

Their parents were amazed by their performances and some comments were: “We’re speechless”, “I’m overwhelmed” and “I can’t stop sobbing”.
Well done to the maths whizz kids from Ladysmith on your achievements.
