Monument Primary School cricket boys have been knocking over the stumps on the cricket pitches in Northern KwaZulu-Natal (NKZN) recently.
Avuyile Potelwa and Jonathan Drysdale have both claimed the title of record holders for taking wickets.
On July 28, Avuyile was part of the Monument U/13 team that took on Huttenpark at home in Ladysmith. He managed to take seven wickets for only eight runs in four overs, which is the record for the U/13 division in NKZN.

A week later, Jonathan managed to take eight wickets for 14 runs in four overs against Drakensberg Primary School in Newcastle, which is a record in the U/11 division in NKZN.
Well done to these Monument cricketers on their excellent bowling figures.
