Ladysmith learner wins bursary in competition

Nzuzo Mhlanga intends on pursuing a career in the engineering sector

Grade 12 Windsor Secondary School learner Nzuzo Mhlanga emerged victorious in the recent Aqua Enduro competition hosted by the Department of Water & Sanitation.

Aqua Enduro is an innovative initiative that seeks to address the skills shortage in the scientific and engineering disciplines within the water sector at grassroots level. This is a process of identifying tomorrow’s water engineers and scientists.

Nzuzo is now one of six provincial recipients and one of 54 national finalists to receive a full bursary from the department. He intends on pursuing a career in the engineering sector.

The principal, educators, school governing body and learners of Windsor Secondary School would like to congratulate Nzuzo on his achievement and wish him well in all his future endeavours. Well done, Ladysmith is extremely proud of you!
