Top term academics make DHS proud

The learners would like to thank Mrs Swart for her continued support and enthusiasm throughout every fishing season.

The following learners are the top academic achievers for Term Two:

Grade 8 – Zandisiwe Maphalala with an average of 86.9 per cent; Grade 9 – Yusrah Kader with an average of 93.4 per cent; Grade 10 – Eric Lauwrens with an average of 92.5 per cent; Grade 11 – Stefan Thom with an average of 86.7 per cent; Grade 12 – Sisanda Thango with an average of 86.81 per cent.

KZNFBAU u-19 team: DHS would like to congratulate the following learners for being selected to represent the KwaZulu-Natal Region Freshwater Bank Angling Union Junior Under-19 teams for 2019: Trent Donaldson, Nicole Duval and Kameshan Govender.

DHS fishing at Mahawane Dam: The fishing team left for Mahawane Dam at the weekend and had a very successful expedition, catching a total of 29 fish. Kameshan Govender managed to catch the biggest fish, while Huzaifah Mahomed caught the most (14). The learners would like to thank Mrs Swart for her continued support and enthusiasm throughout every fishing season.
