Teenage boy has epileptic fit in the road

Paramedics stabilised the boy and took him to hospital for further medical treatment

Concerned motorists spotted a boy lying in Watson Road this morning (July 22) and didn’t know what was wrong with him.

The boy wasn’t moving and the motorists who stopped called ambulance services, who responded to the scene.

Paramedics examined the youngster, who was in school uniform, and found that he had suffered an epileptic fit while walking along the road.

Paramedics stabilised the teenager and took him to hospital for further medical attention.

Some of the motorists who stopped also helped the paramedics to get the patient safely into the ambulance.

One motorist commented that the teen was lucky that nobody drove over him.
