The Sat-Chit-Ananda Temple Society of Newcastle is inviting devotees to attend ‘8 Days of Srimad Bhagwat Puran Gyan Yag Katha’, with His Holiness Sri Rangramanuj Pithadhishvar Swami Shreedharacharya ji Maharaj, from Vrindavan.
His Holiness was born into a traditional vaishnav Brahman family in Uttrakhand, India on phalgun Purnima (Holi festival) in Vikram Samvat 2030.
At the age of 7, while having his early education in dehradhun, he took Prapan Deeksha from his Guru, Anantsri Vibhushit Jagadguru Ramanujcharya Maharaj. After taking Deeksha along with his normal education, he started his studies in Vedic Scriptures.
The event will take place at the temple from July 21 to 28, at 164 Panorama Drive, Fernwood. Weekdays – 6pm to 8.30pm and weekends – 4.30pm to 7pm.
