Lost money to Bitcoin Wallets? Download affidavit here

The thunderous crash of Bitcoin Wallets in Ladysmith was heard by the National Directorate of the Hawks all the way in Pretoria.

The current investigation into the suspected Ponzi scheme, which guaranteed clients 100% return on their investments, will now be regarded as a matter of priority with regular progress reports being submitted to the national Head.

Hawks investigating officer, Trevor Harding, advised that people need to be careful about putting their money into a scheme that looks glamorous, when they know that such high returns are impossible.

Residents, who have lost money to Bitcoin Wallets, should fill in the affidavit form, which can be downloaded below

The completed form should then be handed in at the Ladysmith police station, together with your Bitcoin Wallets receipt, and a copy of your ID.

Please indicate on the form if you have invested once, or if you have re-invested your returns. Quote inquiry number: 2/6/2019 for the Hawks Pietermaritzburg Commercial Crimes Unit when handing in the relevant documents. Anyone who submits their affidavit should be aware that doing so does not guarantee that their money will be recovered, and that they may be called upon to testify in court should any arrests be made.
