Officials and members of the Dundee Hindu Temple have great pleasure in inviting the Hindu community to the 2019 Marieamman and Maduraiveeran Prayers on Sunday, July 21.
Formalities commence with the flag hoisting ceremony on Friday (July 19) at 5pm.
Sunday’s prayer commences at 9am with a Gharagam procession, starting from the nearby river bank.
Come along, parents, brothers and sisters, to join in this important prayer being Marieamman.
For Marie or Sathi, mother of mystery, worship is also referred to as the ‘Amman Prayer’, the ‘Marieamman Prayer’ or the ‘Kanji Prayer’.
God is worshipped as the Divine aspect of MOTHER, the manifestation of Adhi Parasathi, who comes down as a rain, helping plants and vegetation grow and blessing creation with an abundance of water, food, clothing, wealth and shelter.
These are the main source of humans’ needs, to attain good health, wealth and prosperity to serve humanity, and fulfill the purpose of birth right.
Furthermore, the power and glory of mother Shakthi cures, heals and comforts all those wh oare burdened with illness and suffering.
The price to attain her blessings is your presence at this divine prayer.
Do not miss this golden opportunity to join our services, from July 19 to July 21, and receive the grace and blessings of the Divine Mother Adhi Parasathi and Lord Maduraiveeran, to attain peace of mind, happiness and salvation.
To those who wish to make a contribution in cash or kind towards this significant prayer, please offer your donation at the temple.
