DHS netball girls put district on the map in two provinces

DHS thanks Ms N Mathenjwa, M Mkhonza, J Ngwenya and Z Ziqubu for accompanying the girls to Cape Town, and acknowledges Mr M Sithole for all his continued support.

The Umzinyathi flag flew high in Durban and Cape Town over the holidays.
Dundee High School’s Zinita Oosthuizen and Alwande Mchunu represented KwaZulu-Natal in the Winter Games, held in Durban from June 30 to July 5, during the under-15 tournament.
DHS’s umpire, Ms Z Nxumalo was also part of this tournament.
Aphelele Zwane and Thandolwethu Biyela, also from DHS, formed part of the u-19 team, which travelled to Cape Town from June 23 to June 29.
“The school appreciates what these young girls are doing for the district, both for their school and the federation. This proves this district is recognised provincially and nationally, due to these young and energetic netball players.”
DHS thanks Ms N Mathenjwa, M Mkhonza, J Ngwenya and Z Ziqubu for accompanying the girls to Cape Town, and acknowledges Mr M Sithole for all his continued support.
Chairperson, Mrs L Madondo was also described as amazing.
“She, together with her committee, managed to secure sponsors for the team. Without their hard work, the girls’ tour would not be a success. Siyabonga kakhulu Gogo and your committee.”
