Why support this cake sale?

Estcourt Hospice Association Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rena Licen explains why you should support this fund-raiser:

Estcourt Hospice Association Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rena Licen.

· The Estcourt Hospice Association offers care for the terminally ill and their families at no cost (Palliative Care). These patients could be suffering from chronic or life-threatening illnesses.

· Apart from our core business of Palliative Care, we also hire out equipment such as wheelchairs to the community at very reasonable rates.

· We sell adult diapers at a good price as a service to the community.

· The Estcourt Hospice Charity Shop is a gem, as it helps Hospice keep its doors open.

· Our social worker also helps clients outside our programme with various psycho-social interventions.

· We also work closely with Department of Health staff to provide training in Palliative Care
