Director of Town Planning and Strategic Development, Stefan Landman advises residents to prepare for another few hours without running water.
This comes in the wake of Vryheid’s most recent water debacle, which stemmed from alleged unauthorised drilling at the intersection of Church and President Streets during the week.

According to Landman, during the repairs to the damaged pipe, another leak was discovered and needs to be repaired.
These repairs will take place on Monday, and Landman has issued a notice to the public that water will be turned off on Monday morning at 7am and restored, if all goes well, at 5pm on Monday evening.
