37-year-old Bongi Khanyeza-Magudulela is a culinarian, born and bred in the area of Estcourt called Emtshezi.
As of this Wednesday (June 12) Bongi will teaching unemployed women the skills they need to obtain, in order for them to prepare mouth-watering dishes. This is all happening out the goodness of her heart and free of charge.

“I realised I love everything that has to do with food in 2001. I used to assist when there were different functions around my area, ranging from weddings to funerals and if people were hosting birthdays parties.
During my childhood when other children used to go out and play, my toys were pots as I spent most of my time in the kitchen. In 2010 I then decided to initiate my own catering company called Striving Mind Catering Service, I am so passionate about food and by the time I started the company I was able to prepare any kind of dish.”
