Prayer walk founded on Rock of Victory

AFM members say the Prayer Walk was very fruitful, with church members praying on street corners to win souls for Jesus Christ.

Many still depend on the Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa (AFM) Rock of Victory Assembly (ROV). The congregation recently held a spiritual Prayer Walk in the Dundee area.

Phumlile Hlatswayo, Youth Committee Leader in Dundee says, “We believe young people must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, so they will have abundant and eternal life. In the pursuit of these goals, we recently had a Prayer Walk on June 1. The purpose of the Prayer Walk was to pray for our community, and witness or testify the good work that Jesus Christ has done in our lives, and to celebrate the beginning of the youth month.”

AFM members say the Prayer Walk was very fruitful, with church members praying on street corners and preaching to win souls for Jesus Christ.

“We plan on having more events, bringing together the young and old of Sibongile. The next big event we are looking at is the AFM NKZN Region Youth Conference, with ROV being the hosts,” said Phumulile.

The next conference will be held at Dundee Secondary School this Friday, from 6pm until the following day. On Saturday, there will be three sessions from 9am onwards, with a Sunday session beginning at 8am. Guest speaker, Miss Cebani is from the Eastern Cape and the theme is Preparation for End Time Harvest.
