DHS hockey girls celebrate Derby Day victory

The girls' Derby Day success made up for the boys first hockey team going down to its Glencoe opponents.

Dundee High School’s first team hockey girls marked a hard-fought 1 – 0 victory, over rivals, Sarel Cilliers with raucous celebrations yesterday.

The girls’ Derby Day success made up for the boys first hockey team going down to its Glencoe opponents by the same score.

This is the first time in over 12 years Sarel Cilliers has beaten DHS in a boys’ first team hockey clash.
