Local radio station celebrates Africa Day with its listeners

They commemorated 56 years of Africa Day and kept the spirit alive by dancing and singing songs

Saturday, May 25, was Africa Day, which commemorates the foundation of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) on an annual basis.

To honour the occasion, local radio station Nqubeko FM celebrated the day with its listeners, also commemorating 56 years of Africa Day. They kept the spirit alive by dancing and singing traditional songs.

The station manager gave a heart-warming speech and everyone basically “let their hair down” and celebrated the fact that they live in such an awesome country with so many diverse cultures.
