Donors recognised for their blood donations in Ladysmith
The Ladysmith Blood Donor Clinic is appealing to the community to please support their Winter Blood Campaign in June
The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) donor awards function took place last Friday evening (May 24) at the Royal Hotel. A large crowd of blood donors gathered to enjoy their special evening hosted by the friendly SANBS staff and management.
The aim of the function was to thank local blood donors for their commitment and congratulate them on achieving great milestones when it comes to the number of units they have donated.
Donors were rewarded with special gifts.

Everyone at the awards function enjoyed a great night of socialising and a delicious three-course meal.
The Ladysmith Blood Donor Clinic is appealing to the community to please support their Winter Blood Campaign that kicked off yesterday (June 1). International Blood Donation Day is celebrated on June 14, so please go and donate your precious blood.
