In the Huttenpark Primary School Winter Sport Calendar, they faced Vryheid’s New Republic School (NRS) on May 11. It was a warm sunny day of sport at Huttenpark Primary School as hockey and rugby teams took on each other at the school.
The Huttenpark hockey First Team beat NRS a whopping 7-0, while the Huttenpark rugby First Team beat NRS 19-12.
The day was full of festivities, as parents and learners watched Huttenpark Primary School’s drum majorettes perform before the final rugby match of the day. The Hippo Run Competition was a hit with parents, as some of them won cash prizes.
