Latest dam levels in the Ladysmith area

Spioenkop Dam is on 100.1%

We are going into winter and the rainy season is behind us, so everyone is hoping that the rain we’ve had is enough to keep dams full until spring rolls around again.

As it stands, dam levels in the Ladysmith area are looking good and are remaining on the high side.

Here are the most recently recorded dam levels.

Driel Barrage is on 96% and Woodstock Dam on 95.8%.

Spioenkop Dam is on 100.1%, having been over 100% for at least two months now.

Sterkfontein Dam, which is a favourite for fishing and recreational activities, is on 93.3%.

The lowest dam in the KZN area is Pongolapoort Dam on 47.8%.
