A missing 28-year-old woman was found dead in a drain along the R103 on Monday last week (April 29).
A missing persons case had been opened at Colenso police station the previous day (Sunday, April 28).
An ensuing search by police officers turned up her car in Greytown.
Warrant Officer Jacques Meyer from the Ladysmith K9 Unit, along with other tracker personnel, then recovered her body dumped in a drain along the R103 between Colenso and Estcourt.
Police are currently investigating a case of murder.
