Uncle to appear in court for cutting up 8-year-old girl and dumping her body parts in pit toilets near Ladysmith

The suspect directed police officers to 2 pit toilets in Driefontein, where body parts were found

The man accused of the murder of eight-year-old Celimpilo Nosbusiso Sibiya will appear in the Ladysmith Regional Court on Thursday, April 18.

The suspect’s last appearance in court was on February 28.

Sibiya went missing on November 6 last year at Baldaskraal in Driefontein.

On November 15, police and Ladysmith K9 Search & Rescue officers made a gruesome discovery. The suspect directed police officers to two pit toilets in Driefontein, where the girl’s body parts were found. She had been cut up into pieces.

The case was changed from missing persons to murder and the suspect, who is an uncle of the deceased, was immediately arrested and charged.

Many people are eagerly waiting to see if justice will prevail in this case.
