Heavy rain and cold predicted for Ladysmith today, but no reports of snow on the Drakensberg

Get ready for another cold, rainy day in Ladysmith.

A chilling 15 degrees Celsius is predicted as the maximum temperature today (April 6).

According to the weather services, heavy rain is expected late this evening.

However, there have been no reports of snow in the Drakensberg area, despite yesterday’s predictions.

So take out the warm blankets, brew up the hot chocolate, put in a DVD or two and spend the day indoors.

If you’re driving out on the roads, please be vigilant.
