Nkosikhona Vykayibambe Madoda Shabalala (33) is finally behind bars after being found guilty of rape and robbery. Shabalala was recently sentenced in court.
This after an eight-year-old girl was abducted and raped in 2010 in Ekuvukeni.
The young girl was asked by the suspect to buy items for him at a nearby tuck shop. It was late afternoon, and Shabalala cunningly followed and waited for her along the way.

He then took her with him to his residence some distance away, where he spent the night with her.
The accused was also found guilty of raping and robbing a security guard.
