St Dom’s Girl Power Circle reaches out to home

The girls wanted to spread happiness and express their love and support to people who face challenges in their daily lives. They wanted to show the residents of the home, they are people who are special and make our world special.

St Dominic’s Newcastle Girls Power Circle visited Nil Desperandum Home for the Physically Challenged.

The girls wanted to spread happiness and express their love and support to people who face challenges in their daily lives. They wanted to show the residents of the home, they are people who are special and make our world special.

“Growing up in South Africa, we are faced daily with growing rates of diseases and sicknesses, but being a part of the St Dominic’s Newcastle Girls Power Circle, they are privileged in a sense as they have been given a platform to give back to a country that has blessed them with a place they call home.”

“The visit to Nil Desperandum was definitely an eye opener, it taught me love, support, friendship and moreover, it taught me the value of life – simple things that we take for granted are appreciated so much more at Nil Desperandum, things like walking and talking are blessings that we sometimes overlook,” Sri Prithiraj Ramdas, Gr 11E2.
