Estcourt Round Table brings relief to Shepstone Place Home for the Aged

Giving back to the community is what service clubs are about. The Estcourt Round Table recently made a generous donation to Shepstone Place Home for the Aged.

After receiving a donation of R10 000, the Tablers decided to purchase two 5 000 litre JoJo tanks.

“We then asked a local plumber to buy a pump and piping so when there is no water supply, the tanks would be helpful to the residents and staff,” said Justin Sutherland from the Estcourt Round Table.

After a trial, the Tablers were informed that the water from both tanks lasted a week.

“Shepstone Place was truly grateful for the donation, it would be a huge lifesaver when there is no water available,” added Mr Sutherland.
