The Why Waste team held a successful waste and recycling event at the Crown Hotel recently.
A large crowd of key role players who are actively involved in recycling and keeping the town clean attended the event.
Mr Eppo Bolhuis all the way from the Netherlands from PUM (Expert Waste) also graced the event and spoke to the audience about the role that Why Waste plays in keeping Ladysmith clean and waste free.
Other speakers from Eskom (Ingula) and also the Department of Environmental Affairs, Waste Bureau also attended the event.
The event was well attended and enjoyed by all who gained valuable information about saving the planet and waste removal.
