The latest dam level readings for the Ladysmith area are looking good, even though not much rain has fallen.
There has been rainfall in the catchment areas, which has resulted in an increase in the water level for many dams, including Spioenkop.
Here are the most recent recorded levels from this week:
Spioenkop Dam is at 87.8%, with Driel Barrage Dam at 103.3%.

Woodstock Dam is on 93.7% and Sterkfontein Dam 94.4%.
The lowest dam in KZN is Pongolapoort Dam, which is at 43.4%.
