Suspects nabbed for illegal firearm, ammunition, dagga and stolen goods in oSizweni

The operation yield a positive results, as members arrested two male suspects aged between (25) and (32) years old for possession of suspected stolen goods.

While on patrol, on September 17 oSizweni SAPS members reached a house at Cavan area where they  recovered a one 9mm Pistol Parabellum firearm (serial number erased) with three 9mm live rounds of ammunition and a one 9mm empty magazine(black in colour).

The operation yield a positive results, as members arrested two male suspects aged between (25) and (32) years old for possession of suspected stolen goods.

The goods which were recovered estimated to the street value of approximately twelve thousand rand. One suspect aged (40) years old was also arrested for possession of dagga.

All the dagga recovered estimated to the street value of two thousand rand.

Lastly, members also arrested one male suspect age (30) years old for possession of an Unlicensed Firearm and Ammunition. The value of the recovered firearm is estimated to be about twelve thousand rand.

The suspect arrested for dagga appeared at Madadeni Magistrate Court September 18 for possession of dagga and one suspect has been detained at oSizweni SAPS for possession of an Illegal Firearm and Ammunition, once he has been charged accordingly, he will appear at Madadeni Magistrate Court.

The two suspects arrested for possession of suspected stolen goods have been detained at oSizweni SAPS, once they have been charged accordingly, they will both appear at Madadeni Magistrate Court.
