SAPS Groevlei Social Crime Unit , Groenvlei CPF, Youth Desk and Environmental Health Amajuba conducted an operation at a Tuckshop in Groenvlei on September 13 at about 10am.

The members from CPF and Youth Desk were posted to check the food items from the fridges to the shelves and all the spoilable items were checked.
Various food and dairy products were found with expiry dates already passed and were removed from the fridge. The food items which were removed from the supermarket were bagged in black plastic bags and were handed over Mr Mhlungu from Environmental Health Amajuba.
