School reunion after 50 years

Half a century later and they still remember their school days at LHS

Ladysmith High School’s (LHS) Class of 1968 held a reunion on Saturday. Old classmates got together to share cherished memories and make new ones as well.

They met at the school, where they had a walkabout, remembering times gone by and cracking jokes about the days when they were learners.

After the walk, it was time to plant a tree in the school premises. The tree was dedicated to acting principal Mr Clarke, whose 50th birthday was on Saturday, coinciding with their 50-year class reunion.

In the evening, they had supper at the Royal Hotel, where they socialised the night away with old friends.

Half a century later and they still remember their school days at LHS!
