Residents are frustrated after having to endure continuous water cuts.
Those receiving water from the Ezakheni bulk plant are faced with daily water interruptions.
In some areas, water gets cut off before lunch and only comes back after 8pm.

uThukela spokesperson Jabulani Mkhonza has commented on the matter by saying, “We still have a challenge with regards to one of our raw water pumps that is broken at the Ezakheni plant. The new pump was bought yesterday, but it has not yet been fixed. The situation will improve once the new pump has been fixed. Apologies to all the affected communities.”
uThukela is unsure when the new pump will be up and running.
