Two suspects from oSizweni were recently arrested for being in possession of drugs.

It’s believed members of oSizweni SAPS as well as Newcastle POP (Public Order Policing) conducted a Intelligence Driven Operation, after being informed of drug dealing.
The said members proceeded to a house in Section B, where they confiscated a bread bag containing 29 parcels of dry-loose dagga.
Thereafter, they proceeded to another house in the same area, where they recovered another two plastic bags, also containing dry-loose dagga.
The suspects aged 49 and 51 years respectively, were both arrested and charged accordingly, and will appear in Madadeni Magistrate’s Court soon.
All drugs recovered were estimated at a total value of R2 600.
