Don’t throw away, donate at the Estcourt Hospice Association Charity Shop today

Recently the donations brought to the shop managed to help care for many patients and vulnerable children in and around Estcourt

The Estcourt Hospice Charity Shop in Victoria Street is in need of donations of household items and clothing.
Any unwanted objects, in a good working condition will be accepted and resold.

The charity shop revenue goes to the Estcourt Hospice Association. The association gives care and support to the sick, providing palliative care to patients suffering from life-limiting illnesses as well as their family members.
This is a FREE service.

Two-year-old Keziah Howlett had her eye on this summer dress while shopping recently.

The volunteers managing the charity shop will appreciate donations of kitchenware, linen, towels, curtains, old clothes and shoes, especially children’s toys and clothing. So unpack those cupboards, dust off your unwanted items and help make a difference.

“We have been warmly welcomed by everyone in the area from the very start; we have had a few slow months this year but with fantastic donations from socks to jewellery, we always cope,” shared volunteer Belinda Smith.

She added that she is willing to collect donations as they keep Hospice alive. Recently the donations brought to the shop managed to help care for many patients and vulnerable children in and around Estcourt.

The volunteers wish to say the following to everyone who has donated and those who are yet to: “On behalf of the staff members and board of the Estcourt Hospice Association, we wish to extend our sincere gratitude for your generous donations.

“Through your generosity and concern for others, we are able to carry on with our special service of providing the members of our community with the care, which they so desperately need. May God bless you for your kindness.”
If you are interested in donating items; it is as easy as dropping them off at the Hospice Shop in Victoria Street (next to Hyperzone).
