Fire rages near Sunset Rest road

While winter may be on the way out, the fire season is still upon us. A massive veld fire is burning on the Sunset Rest road this afternoon.

It is unclear what started the blaze. Farmers have, over the past few weeks, complained of people deliberately starting fires on their properties and then running away.

The extent of the blaze is not yet known.
