Sleet falls in Endumeni area

Those who have been waiting for the snow to fall from the leaden sky will have to wait a bit longer. Bits of sleet fell in Endumeni this morning and ‘ice balls’ in Hattingspruit.

Despite rumours of snow in Glencoe, there is as yet nothing to see. Snow was reported on hills around Wasbank but the low cloud is covering most of these extremities.

Rain is continuing to fall much to the relief of, especially farmers. Snow falls were reported on the N3 in the Van Reenen area. Temperatures are expected to rise on Sunday.
