Ladysmith, brace yourself for a freezing-cold weekend

More rain and cold is expected during the rest of today

Snow began falling in the north of Lesotho in the Maluti Mountains (Afriski area) during the early hours of yesterday (August 9) morning. By sunrise on Thursday, light snow fell across the Drakensberg from the north to the south, mainly on the Lesotho side.

This is the reason Ladysmith is experiencing such cold weather.

More rain and cold is expected during the rest of today.

So make sure your kitchen cupboards are stocked with tea, coffee and hot chocolate to warm your insides.
