Nomcebo Radebe is making waves in the music industry this Women’s Month. The artist, whose stage name is Lee Diamond, has released a song entitled ‘African Women’.

She has a dream of making her song a hit for Women’s Month in August. Nomcebo is originally from Estcourt and grew up living with her grandmother in the Emathabeleni area in Kranskop.

She started to sing at a very young age, she was 11-years-old when the journey began. Lee Diamond joined a school choir in 2012 in Gcotio High School in Kranskop, there she sang alto for a year, then changed to soprano and excelled as a soprano soloist.

In 2015, Lee Diamond met Phumelela Steve Nzama at an university campus and he is now her manager as she has been signed to Verona Walls Music. Phumelela Nzama took Lee Diamond seriously when she told him about her passion for music and dedication.

She was signed in 2017, she started to prove herself through hard work and dedication to her craft. Lee Diamond is working towards her album, which will be out next year. She currently has three songs – African Women, Buya kimi ft Thandanani and Amazing.
