Female RTI officers out in full force at Women’s Day roadblock

Traffic volumes were above 1000 vehicles per hour at the Tugela Plaza, heading towards the coast

With it being Women’s Day and traffic being busy, female officers from RTI (Road Traffic Inspectorate) across the region celebrated the day by braving the cold and staging an all-women roadblock.

The chilly weather conditions did not cause the law enforcement ladies to lose focus, as they carried out vehicle checks throughout the morning on the N11 at Elandslaagte.

Traffic volumes were above 1000 vehicles per hour at the Tugela Plaza, heading towards the coast.
