Cops seize two suspects in Vryheid Plaza heist
One of the suspects, who was arrested in Bhekuzulu, was shot in the leg.
TWO suspects were apprehended by Vryheid SAPS following an armed robbery at Vryheid Plaza yesterday morning, with police still in pursuit of the remaining suspects at the time of publishing.
A black Golf GTI, which was used in the commission of the crime, was recovered, along with firearms and an undisclosed amount of cash. One of the suspects, who was arrested in Bhekuzulu, was shot in the leg. He was found to be in possession of an assault rifle.

The remaining suspects disappeared into the bushes in the Vryheid East area and a chase ensued. At the time of going to print, the search for the suspects was ongoing and no further information was available. Police at the scene could not confirm at the time how many suspects were still at large.
