Suryaville Primary School hosted a Senior Phase Spelling Bee Competition on Friday, July 20.
Suryaville Primary School learners competed against Newcastle High School learners.

The top three learners were as follows:
First place: Thandolwenkosi Mabaso
Second place: Palesa Mkhwanazi
Third place: Minenhle Mkhwanazi.
These learners were previous learners of Suryaville Primary School.
The Spelling Bee Competition Pronouncer was Mr AG Maharaj and the judges for the were; Mr R Vilander, Ms K Rampersadh and Ms NV Gama.
