Dead dog dumped in pile of rubbish in Ladysmith (Warning: Graphic Content)

Being an animal lover, the sight of the beautiful dog just dumped there left Mr van Eck in tears

Mr Andries van Eck was going on his daily walk around the bypass last Wednesday when he found something that was truly disturbing.

He stumbled upon the carcass of a massive Boerboel dog dumped in a pile of trash at the side of the road.

Being an animal lover, the sight of the beautiful dog just dumped there left Mr van Eck in tears.

“The body of the dog looked in good condition, but it had a wound on it which looked somewhat like a gunshot wound to its side,” he said.

He contacted Public Safety and the dog was removed from the side of the busy road.

“How can a person just dump their beloved pet like that?” he fumed.

He feels that if someone loves their pet, they should bury it in a dignified manner and not in a pile of trash in the middle of nowhere.
