Dam levels: Spioenkop Dam shows a slight drop due to no rain in the area

Local dams are over 90% full

The latest dam level readings for the Ladysmith area are looking good, even in the grip of winter.

Lack of rain has resulted in a drop for some dams, but the overall picture is positive.

Here are the most recent recorded levels from this week:

Spioenkop Dam is at 92.9%, with Driel Barrage Dam at 93.9%.
