Estcourt’s Jaya Sookraj joins the Bar Of Advocates

Advocate Sookraj currently lectures the law courses at the Mnambithi TVET College, Estcourt Campus

Advocate Jaya Sookraj has completed his pupillage under the supervision of master Advocate Kevin Mullins, and is now a full member of the Bar Of Advocates.

The pupillage program is a comprehensive theory and practical program, which comprises four disciplines of Criminal Procedure; Civil Procedure; Motion Court and Legal Drafting.

It is undertaken over one year, which culminates in a nine hour exam on the NQF level nine (Masters Degree Level).
