An armed robbery has taken place in Jantha Crescent this evening (July 30).
It is believed that three men with firearms and knives gained access to a house by breaking through the back door.

A large number of possessions were stolen, as well as an undisclosed amount of cash.
The men fled the scene on foot and a manhunt for the suspects is being conducted.

The residents were treated by emergency personnel, as they were in a state of shock after the ordeal.
Police, including the K9 Unit, responded to the scene.
A large crowd gathered outside the home to see what was going on and if they could help in any way.
