Many business owners and residents are complaining about the sewage in Forbes Street.

The newly-appointed constituency members in the IFP have contacted uThukela many times regarding this matter, but nothing has been done.

“This problem has been going on for months, with no help to sort out this matter,” commented IFP councillor Abbas Warasally.

Motorists are complaining about having to drive through the effluent, as they try to avoid dirtying up their vehicles with the stinking water.
