Watch: Snake expert goes in search of monster-sized African Rock Python near Ladysmith
The residents told him that the snake was massive in size and that they were very afraid of it
Local snake expert Fanie Cilliers was in search of yet another huge African Rock Python on Thursday evening (June 28) in St Chad’s.
Residents from a house in St Chad’s say that they saw a “monster sized” snake wrapped around an outside toilet of their home.
The residents quickly contacted Ezakheni police, who in turn called Fanie.
Fanie responded to the scene and went in search of the snake.
The residents told him that the snake was massive in size and that they were very afraid of it.
Fanie started his search in the toilet area where the residents had seen the snake, but it was not found there.
He continued to search the entire area, but in vain.

Fanie says the snake could have easily moved into the nearby Klip River.
He added that the snake was most probably hunting in the area, with many chickens and goats near the homes.
The St Chad’s area is known for monster-size snakes. This is one of many that failed to be found and will continue to grow even bigger until it rears its head again.
