Glencoe Primary Violet recently held its annual sports day May 12.
The school grounds were well decorated and the beautiful weather also played its part.
The cheers of athletes, learners and the community at large echoed through the sports ground. Athletes showed off their talents on the tracks. Competition was tough with high expectations from all four houses.
However, every sports event must have a winner and the winning house for 2018 was Cheetah House.
The school thanked all the sponsors who contributed to making this event a success and Glencoe Primary Violet is truly humbled by the kind generosity and contribution by Dr and Mrs Sadesh Sookraj and family (USA) in memory of the late Mr and Mrs Harichand Sookraj. All-in-all it was a high spirited and fulfilled day for learners, educators and the community.
