Clamp down on Tayside vandals

Trespassers will be prosecuted

The vandalising of a popular fishing spot at Tayside has forced nature lovers to clamp down on those who leave the area in mess.

The area between Tayside Weir and the railway bridge, known to many as ‘The Big Hole, is now deemed to be off-limits and trespassers will be prosecuted.

Previously, the area was a popular fishing and braaing spot. Of late, cattle have gone missing in the area and people have taken to dumping their litter and broken bottles in the stretch of land.

However, the area is now off limits to everyone.

There will be no more fishing, camping or braaing in the area.

Trespassers will be prosecuted and suspected of stock theft.
